If you haven’t paid much attention to a higher power or to your spirituality during your heroin abuse treatment, it is time to do it now that you’re in recovery. When you acknowledge the higher power, you would for sure avoid bored moments. Enhancing your spiritual side means you are now devoted to do things that are geared towards enriching your connection to a higher power.

It is a usual thing to feel bored after heroin addiction treatment, but you should be aware that boredom is a relapse trigger. When you know what to do and how to spend your time wisely, you’re doing something to strengthen your recovery. This makes you less prone to relapse and stay sober for a long time.
